New on the Toronto music scene, Sophie Tex is a force to be reckoned with. The teen singer and songwriter blends cinematic vocals over atmospheric production. A seasoned performer and student of a prestigious arts school, Sophie’s creativity is built on technical excellence, backed by top honours at competitive music festivals. She envelopes her listeners in a sound that is raw and vulnerable but with a dark, magnetic edge. Her journey began with the debut single "Broken Promises," a dark and dreamy track that hit over 10k streams in a few weeks. IntrovertDisco says “it’s got all the hallmarks of a dark indie tune that should be all over the radio nationwide,” and Laurelanne Media calls it “bleak in exactly the right way.”
